We collect information you provide directly: your email address when you register, your shopping lists and pantry data, and messages you send via the contact form.

2. How we use your data

We use your data solely to:

• Provide and sync your shopping lists across devices
• Generate AI-powered recipe suggestions
• Send transactional emails (account verification, support replies)
• Improve the app based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns

We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

3. Third-party services

VistaList uses the following third-party services:

• Google (OAuth, Analytics) — for sign-in and anonymous usage analytics
• Stripe — for payment processing. We never store your card details
• Google Gemini API — to generate recipe suggestions. Your list items may be sent to this API; they are not stored by Google for training

4. Data retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us at hello@vistalist.net.

5. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We follow industry-standard security practices.
